When people get tattoos of my work it sets my heart alight.

The first image is my painting 'The Descent', the second is Iain Morrison’s arm with ink by Sydney-based tattoo artist Sprinkles who did an amazing job translating my work onto skin.

Pre warning, essay ahead!! And no negative comments please :) Only positive vibes round here!

Unfortunately the poor quality left photo is the only one of my ‘old self’ that I have to use, but I hope this shows you that hard work, consistency and dedication does pay off.

I was never overweight, but I was never happy, healthy, fit, toned or confident either.
My diet was TERRIBLE. I had no idea what real nutrition and healthy food was. I was drinking multiple cans of soft drink with every meal, which was most of the time junk food, and eating sweets galore. I was training roughly 4 days a week, and saw zero results. I felt sluggish, tired and unwell all the time, and I thought this was normal until I changed the way I was living.
The hardest part for me was dropping the sugar and soft drink. But WOW did I see the results once I made those sacrifices. I started eating well and training harder. I can’t stress enough to you that eating well does NOT mean eating less. You need to eat MORE of the right healthy, nutritious food. So girls, please don’t starve yourselves. And YES, I do indulge in sweet foods and take away when I want to - in moderation.

It took time - yes, but I got there. I’m so proud of the hard work I put in, and I’m an ambassador for this lifestyle because I genuinely LOVE it, and I want you to love it too. 😊✌️
